After working with Sarah rewriting my parents wills as they had moved here to be with me from New Jersey, I appreciated her competence, empathy and help. Upon their deaths, she also helped guide me on probate that I could do myself. We again chose her to rewrite our Estate Plans, which originated in Indiana, to conform with NC laws. She pointed out possible problems with original plan and thoroughly explained why they were problems. We readjusted our plan on her advice. Everything was organized in our Estate Plan book with explanations for heirs on what to do upon our deaths for us to hand to them for future use. In our 60s, we recently married and Sarah prepared new Wills and POAs. A little complex with separate families and finances. Sarah explained provisions of each document, gave examples of "what would happen if.." asked poignant questions that helped us think through our intent and made certain she understood it. The finished docs were thorough and stated what the law allows so Executors and POAs have that knowledge easily available. She spent time needed and never pushed us because of time constraints.
